Go Fin Links (go.fin.ai) is an internal URL shortener operated by Intercom, Inc. (“Intercom”, “we”, “us”). It is available exclusively to Intercom team members. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Go Fin Links uses Google OAuth 2.0 for sign-in. We request access to your basic Google profile information:
Sign-in is restricted to @intercom.io and @intercom.com Google Workspace accounts. No external users can access the application.
The Go Fin Links Chrome extension reads the URL and title of your current browser tab to pre-fill the shortlink creation form. This data is sent to go.fin.ai to generate AI-suggested slugs and descriptions. The extension stores your API key, email address, and theme preference locally in Chrome storage. No browsing history or data from other tabs is accessed or transmitted.
If your team connects a Google Sheet for UTM campaign data, Go Fin Links accesses that sheet using the connecting user’s Google credentials via the Google Sheets API. We read sheet data to display UTM campaign rows within the app. We do not modify, delete, or share sheet contents.
We do not sell, share, or transfer user data to any third parties for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the operation of this service.
All data is stored in a Neon PostgreSQL database. Access to the database is restricted to the application. The application is served over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are managed via secure, HTTP-only cookies.
Account data and links are retained for as long as the service is in operation. Archived links remain in the database but are hidden from the default view. Users can request deletion of their data by contacting the engineering team.
For questions about this privacy policy or your data, contact the Go Fin Links team via Slack or email at privacy@intercom.io.
